This is an alert as the proposed change may impact your situation. On August 23 2018, the IRS proposed regulations to remove the ability to take a federal tax deduction on contributions made to school tuition organizations (STOs) after August 27, 2018. This is the official IRS news release. The Arizona state tax credit benefit will not be affected. Now Accepting Applications for 2018-19 School Year

Beginning February 15, 2018, Az4Education is accepting scholarship applications for the 2018-19 school year. Even though your school may not start until the fall and tuition isn’t needed by the school until July, it’s a good idea to get your application submitted sooner than later. We work with all private K-12 schools in Arizona and our mission is to help families get a real choice!    You only need to submit one application and it is good for the entire school year.  The application takes about 7 minutes on average to complete and submitting your tax returns is optional.    There […]

Beginning February 15, 2017, we are accepting applications for the 2017-18 school year. We work with all private K-12 schools in Arizona and need an application submitted every school year, which is good for the entire school year.   Our application takes about 7 minutes on average to complete and submitting your tax returns is optional.    Note that we also do not have any deadlines and award/review monthly. We receive applications daily and because our membership dashboard provides real time feedback, many of our members can get answers to the most common questions, such as “what is the status of my application?” What we also get questions about how funds are allocated, which depends in large part on your student or family eligibility.    Do you know if you son/daughter is eligible to receive a switcher or low income scholarship/grant?
